Dry Shampoo For Sensitive Scalps

Dry Shampoo For Sensitive Scalps // Not sure if I’ve mentioned this before but I’ve had psoriasis since I was young. It affects my scalp mainly and now that I’ve gotten the dandruff under control thanks to my GP, my scalp is now overproducing oil. This is caused by the fact that my scalp is no longer dry so its overproducing oil now..sorry if this is a little TMI 😛

So I’ve relied more on dry shampoo as a daily essential for hair care. I’ve got two of my favourite dry shampoo products that I’ve tested out! Disclaimer: These work for me and I’ve only written in my own experience, however I’d always ask a health care professional for further advice if these would be kind enough for your own hair and scalp 🙂

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk

This is a really nice smelling dry shampoo that doesn’t leave my hair looking to dull. I find that some dry shampoos tend to leave a really matte finish (is that just me or?). This product helps with absorbing all the oil in your hair and gives a fresh look to it too. It’s also sulfate-free and colorant-free which is a major plus for those with sensitive scalps.

Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo

The Lush Dry Shampoo was quite a random purchase! I picked this up as an impulse buy but really wanted to see how it would go for my hair. It’s smells beautiful and very citrusy. It can help with absorbing the oil in your scalp however I always find myself going for my Klorane Dry Shampoo (as its in a spray form). The only downside is that this isn’t in a spray can but rather in a pour out delivery system. You can pour directly onto the hair or in your hands…so this is quite a messy one. However I find this product really great if you’re looking for something that is natural and handmade!

Have you tried any of these dry shampoos? What is your go to product?
