Starting off with a bath…
Drop that stress level down to a zero with a bath. I like bath bombs, bubbles and bath oils (not all together at the same time, unless you wanna #nojudgements)
Nothing better than a nice soothing bath to help you relax and begin your ultimate Sunday night pamper session.
Depending on what you prefer I love using bath salts and bath bombs to create my ideal bath concoction. My favourites would have to be from Lush. Their Sex Bomb bath bomb is my favourite!

As soon as you hop out of the shower you want to give hydration and moisture to your body straight away.
A new body lotion that I’ve been trying recently is Lush’s Sleepy, it’s made with oatmeal, lavender flower, and sweet tonka to create a sleep-friendly lotion.
Or perhaps if lavender isn’t your scent, I love the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Body Lotion which is hydrating and nourishing for the skin.
Cleansing Your Face
I love doing my skincare routine. Every. Single. Night. Without fail!
I like to double cleanse because I feel it gets all your makeup, dirt and grime off your face.
The first product I usually go with would be some sort of cleansing oil. There are so many types of cleansers for different skin types, so I’d recommend doing a little bit of research and seeing what brand is popular for your skin type.
My cleansing products at the moment are The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter and the Avene Dermo-Cleansing Milk. They both work so well together and get rid of all the makeup and dirt from that day.
Another cleanser you guys might be interested in is the Environ Mild Cleansing Lotion* which helps get rid of any dirt, makeup or excess oil! It also promotes a radiant appearance on the skin which is great if you want to achieve a glow on the skin!
So many different options on what masks you can use! These days you can get:
- peel-off masks
- clay masks
- sheet masks
- rubber masks (I’m still yet to try!)
- overnight masks
They’re probably heaps more different types of masks, but the most important thing to remember is to make sure you are using a mask for your skin type.
Lately, I’ve been loving multi-masking which is a technique where you use different types of masks for the various areas of your skin that have different skin issues.
Next: The Skincare Routine
I loveee facial mists. In fact, I carry one in my handbag, have one in my gym bag and one at my work desk. It’s a really great skincare product to have to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.
I like to spray my skin with one before I start my skincare routine to give it an extra boost of hydration.
Before the mist dries on my skin I like to quickly use 2-3 drops of my favourite facial oil. At the moment I’m still using my much loved organic rosehip oil.
I find that oils on the skin are really nice and moisturising. Rosehip oil itself has so many skin benefits which is why I’ve been using it every day for over a year now!
I think eye cream has to be the most important part of any skincare routine. If I did a post on the most basic skin care routine it would need to include eye cream for sure. Currently, I’m loving my Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment which I mentioned in a recent blog post about some new skincare that I’m trying out.
Now here you should a moisturiser that suits your own skin type.
I personally love thick moisturisers so that when I go to sleep they really work deep into the skin to deeply hydrate the skin cells.
I recently was gifted the Environ Vita Complex Super Moisturiser*. It’s a rich moisturiser that hydrates and nourishes the skin. The moisturizer is really great for dehydrated skin (which is totes me!) and dull skin types.
